According to Forbes, the 32 year old golfer will have earned about $1 billion by 2010. But to be an actual billionaire, he has to acquire a net worth of $1 billion or over which may take slightly longer. Who would have thought Tiger Woods name will be heard amongst the billionaires’. We bet you were thinking maybe Lebron James, Micheal Jordan, Shaq or British superstar David Beckham. What you didn’t know was that in 2007 Tiger made himself about $115 million dollars ($65 million more than runner-up, Beckham’s earnings). Without doubt, Woods is a major success story. And his story gets more successful as he is the first to build a billionaire fortune from actually ‘Playing Sports’! Turning pro in 1996, he signed an endorsement deal with Nike. Last year, Nike Golf posted about $600 million in sales. No one did it better than Woods. Now it’s the biggest golf apparel in the world.
